Neil Cust

Neil has over 35 years experience both in private practice and in government, having dealt with legal issues and held management positions at the highest levels in both spheres. He has practiced in most areas of the law most significantly in commercial law & litigation, Estate planning, Probate & administration of estates, criminal law, regulatory & law enforcement, taxation & customs law, administrative law and insolvency. He now assists many businesses, individuals and sporting organisations in finding practical solutions in these areas.

Prior to establishing his own practice he was a senior executive and National Client Manager with the Australian Government Solicitor (AGS), a government business enterprise. He also headed a number of legal teams, including those responsible for regulatory and law enforcement, administrative law, customs and excise, taxation litigation, corporations and insolvency law and international law. Before joining AGS he was in private practice for several years.
In recent years he has been a sessional lecturer in the Business and Law School at RMIT University.
